GiliSoft RAMDisk is a high-performance RAM disk application that allows you to have a disk in your computer fully stored in its memory. Since memory is much faster than physical hard drives, it is possible to read/write data to a fast disk in memory for higher performance. The virtual disk created by GiliSoft RAMDisk that resides in the computer's RAM that is accessible in Windows Explorer and other applications. Like a physical disk, a RAM disk can also be shared to be accessed by other computers on a network! You choose its size (depending on the amount of RAM in your system), drive letter and file system. You can copy, move, and delete files in it.
