Powersim Software now proudly offers the well-tested pForecast prediction tool to market.
Powersim Software has received the rights to the pForecast production forecasting tool. The tool has been developed in the Powersim Studio simulation tool over several years in close cooperation with Equinor
During this journey, pForecast was tested at the Gullfaks oil and gas field, one of the largest fields in the Norwegian North Sea sector. The reason gullfaks chose was to ensure that the product can handle all the challenges faced when making production forecasts.
pForecast was launched in the organization, also for oil and gas fields other than Gullfaks, and today there are more than 100 satisfied pForecast users in Equinor.
