About the manufacturer

Atlassian is the software company behind Jira and Confluence, work management and enterprise collaboration platforms used by technology, product, service and business teams. Founded in 2002 in Sydney, Australia, by Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar, the company went public on Nasdaq in December 2015 under the ticker TEAM and, on 30 September 2022, completed its redomiciliation the United Kingdom to the United States, becoming Atlassian Corporation, incorporated in Delaware with corporate headquarters in San Francisco. Mike Cannon-Brookes is CEO and co-founder.

According to Atlassian, the portfolio serves more than 300,000 organisations worldwide — including NASA, Deutsche Bank and United Airlines — and reaches over 80% of the Fortune 500. Its cloud products run on AWS infrastructure with continuous updates, share the Teamwork Graph, the layer connecting work, people and goals across apps, and are extended through the Atlassian Marketplace, with over 6,000 apps and integrations, and the Forge development platform. Rovo is the artificial intelligence layer spanning the portfolio, with search, chat and agents.

Atlassian's main product lines:

  • Jira — project management and work tracking with Scrum and Kanban boards, sprints, backlog and JQL; it unified the former Jira Software and Jira Work Management.
  • Confluence — knowledge base and enterprise documentation integrated with Jira, with spaces, versioned pages and permission control.
  • Jira Service Management — service management and ITSM licensed per agent, with a help portal, queues, SLAs and incident management.
  • Bitbucket — Git repository hosting with code review, branch permissions and continuous integration pipelines.
  • Jira Product Discovery — capture and prioritisation of product ideas, connecting the discovery phase to delivery in Jira.
  • Jira Align — enterprise planning at scale, supporting organisational agility frameworks such as SAFe.
  • Compass — catalogue of components and services, with technical health scorecards and per-team ownership mapping.
  • Trello — visual task management on Kanban boards, aimed at small teams and lightweight workflows.
  • Loom — asynchronous video communication, with screen and webcam recording plus automatic transcription.
  • Atlassian Guard — organisation-wide identity security and governance, with SSO, SAML, SCIM and access policies.
  • Atlassian Analytics and Statuspage — analytics on work data and public communication of service status.

On compliance and security, Atlassian holds certifications and attestations including SOC 2 Type II, SOC 3, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27018, PCI DSS and CSA STAR, plus a FedRAMP environment, and states that it runs a global privacy programme covering GDPR, CCPA and LGPD. Atlassian Cloud data residency is available in 11 locations, including Germany, Ireland, the United States, Australia, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland and the United Kingdom — there is no Brazilian region, which makes Jira Software Data Center the route for in-country data requirements. The interface and documentation are available in Brazilian Portuguese.

OSB Software is an official Atlassian commercial partner in Brazil and supplies 100% genuine licences of Jira, Confluence and the rest of the portfolio to companies, with Brazilian invoicing, local contracting and support in Portuguese and full legal compliance — the safe route to buy imported software under a Brazilian corporate entity.
