Revamped graphical user interface and dark themes support

Able2Extract Professional comes with a new graphical user interface (GUI) developed with end-user productivity in mind. All decisions were made to honor the simplicity of the original GUI, as well as optimizing PDF workflows. Detailed tooltips provide additional details about toolbar icons, while the dark theme makes working with documents in low-light conditions less tiring. Our goal was to make Able2Extract easier to work with and your PDF easier to handle.

Additional UI and OCR languages

Able2Extract Professional has been manually translated from the start to provide the same pdf productivity-boosting experience in Spanish, French and German, as well as English. In addition, the OCR engine has been updated to accurately recognize special characters in Spanish, French and German in order to provide high quality results in extracting scanned PDF data.

More refined control over table structures

Custom PDF for Excel, able2Extract's signature feature, gives you even more control over table structures and an enhanced table search function. Instead of specifying a single set of headers and footers and text-to-page settings (no matter how many tables are available), you can set these properties for each table (table structure) individually.

Various improvements and adjustments

The new Able2Extract Professional can create a blank PDF document. A popular split PDF feature includes options to create a separate document for each page and even divide the document into even parts.

The function

Searching FOR PDF works faster, shows the total occurrences and allows you to search the document backwards. The new tool makes it easy to navigate documents. Improvements to the optical character recognition engine include improved bitmap quality before OCR and edge detection for raster-to-vector (R2V).
