Devices for modeling sound
Immediately playable, infinitely capable
Wavetable is a new synthesizer created by Ableton. Create, amplify, and modify sounds using wavetables derived from analog synthesizers, a variety of other instruments and sounds, or use a sample in your library to create your own. Guilt rings out immediately – even without a deep knowledge of synthesis – or explore your rich palette through an intuitive interface.

Shape your sound with effects
echo
Echo combines the sound of classic delays in analog and digital hardware into a single device. Format sounds with analog stamped filters, create vintage imperfections with noise and oscillation, or add modulation and reverb to create fuzzy soundscapes, pitiful feedback, and more.
Drum buses
Drum Buss is able to add subtle character or bend and completely break your will. Add heat and distortion, take control of dynamics with compression and transient modeling, mark the pen, and control bass decay with the dedicated dedicated section.
pedal
With separate circuit-level models of overdrive effects, distortion and distortion, the Pedal brings to Live the character of analog pedal boxes. The effect is excellent for heating voices and instruments, directing synthesizers or drums. And, of course, it looks great with guitars.
EQ do canal
A simple and flexible equalizer with curves and gain intervals suitable for a variety of audio materials. A sweepable midband allows you to highlight the main frequencies of any instrument. The shape of the filters is adapted depending on how the controls are configured to always provide musical results.
delay
It combines Simple Delay and Ping Pong Delay and adds feature updates. The ping-pong behavior, as well as the jump, fade input, and tone controls of these devices, are accessed on the front panel. The delay also adds filter modulation and allows you to infinitely repeat the input signal.
Try using new tools
Creative extensions
Eight tools designed to enhance and expand the punch, color, and texture you can achieve with Live. This collection includes new ways to present changes and sequences of melodies and delays, creative processing and personality study, a device that creates ethereal spaces and reverberation-like and two max synths renewed for live.
CV Tools
Generate or receive pitch, control, clock and TRIGGER CV for modular synthesizers and other equipment using control voltage with 11 Max for Live devices. Chords and sequence melodies activate rhythmic patterns, fuse multiple modulation signals, generate modular-style polyrhythms, create custom CV values and LFO shapes, synchronize the entire configuration with Live, and more.
Surround panorama
A multi-channel panoramic device for performances, installations and theatres using four to eight speaker configurations.
Rediscover time-tested devices
Reverb de Concolução
A set of sample-based reverbs with hundreds of impulse responses from real-world spaces and world-class hardware. This package also includes an IR measurement tool to create IRs from your own favorite spaces.
Modulators
Add dynamic and controllable changes to your music. Automate multiple device parameters at the same time for sound evolution, use existing audio to trigger music events, create custom modulation shapes you can adjust in real time, and more.
Max for live drums
Create fully customized drum and percussion sounds using the DS10 device collection. Each of the nine Max for live drum synths received a full sound update and a broader point.
Several workflow enhancements
Turn your most spontaneous ideas into music
Put together a MIDI track and tap. When you hear something you like, press Capture MIDI. Live matches your time and time and repeats your idea without having to press Record. It also works by adding new parts or bypassing MIDI to existing clips.
Multiple editing MIDI clips
Edit smarter and better control the musical relationships of your music. Work with multiple MIDI clips on multiple tracks in a single view - both in session and in layout.
Create and organize more seamlessly
Choose from a palette of automation shapes, stretch and tilt automation, and simplify complex curves into C and S shapes for easy editing, then easily hide the automation when you don't need to see it.
When working on audio clips in the array view, new editing features make detailed editing and extensive adjustments faster and easier. New keyboard shortcuts allow immediate access to common production workflows, such as zooming, folding, and automating solo and group tracks.
Create groups within groups
Process individual elements of the group, a subgroup, or an entire bus. Managing sets with lots of tracks and a detailed layout becomes easier too - multiple group levels allow you to bend the tracks for a simple overview.
Browser collections
Keep your devices, plugins, and swatches in color-coded collections and access them instantly in the browser.
Freezing band with side chains
You can now freeze tracks that contain sidechain routing.
Improve the mix
The utility has an improved gain range for volume automation. The EQ Eight and Utility now have features that provide more precise control of bass frequencies. Split Stereo allows flexible positioning of individual channels in the stereo space.
Dedicated automation and modulation buttons in the detail view of the clip
Switch between automation and modulation in the clip detail view. All modulation now has its own distinct color.
I/O renaming
Instantly select the correct routing by tagging live inputs and outputs to match your studio's instruments and hardware.
Export return and main effects
Musicians now have the option to export unique tracks and groups, with return and master effects applied.
Pinch zoom
All extended components, including devices, support pinch zoom on a trackpad/touchscreen.
Chase notes
Notes are now activated even if playback starts in the middle, so you don't have to start the clip from the beginning.
Refined appearance
The live interface has been updated to be cleaner and clearer, with sharper graphics and refined colors. And a variety of optimized themes improves visibility across all environments.
Resizable layout overview window
Get a better overview of your array with the resizable array summary window.
Changes in breakpoint behavior
Adjust the automation breakpoints to the grid. Set them to precise values using the numeric keypad.
Do even more with Push
New melodic step sequencing design
Hijack notes simultaneously and play them on the same keyboard layout - the bottom half of the layout allows you to play notes in real time, while the top half allows you to sequetly.
Preview advanced effects
Check out Wavetable or Echo in detail in Push while playing. You'll see spectrum analysis in channel EQ and EQ Eight, as well as in advanced EQ Eight Mid, Side, and Left/Right EQ modes. In Compressor, you'll see threshold settings and activities, and you can even configure sidechain routing.
Viewing MIDI notes
Explore and refine midi notes in context directly in the Push viewer. Press and hold one step of the sequence to zoom in and use the on-screen control to adjust the speed, position, and length of the note.
New sound library
Selected collections
A new range of sound packs captures the musical threads that unite styles and evolving scenes. Each package is a selected selection of instruments, clips, and samples that share a common sound theme.
Essential instruments
Built by Ableton in collaboration with artists and sound designers, the Live 10 Suite comes with four new detailed instrument packs.
Max for Live - no limits, built-in
Simplified, faster
Max technology is now fully integrated into Live 10 Suite, no additional downloads or configurations are required. Devices load faster, use less CPU, and look more like native live devices. In addition, new devices and features bring more possibilities for musicians and device developers.
A smoother and more streamlined proofreading experience
Move objects in and out of the connection cables in a single step, manage objects in groups, and filter and log date and time events. Event detection provides an immediate view of your patch when you hover over a cable, the ability to move seamlessly between editing and playback with the Operate while unlocked feature, and much more.
Advanced MIDI hardware integration
Max for Live devices can now send and receive SysEx messages, allowing deeper access to synthesizers, including full predefined backup dumps, parameter control, and more. Max for Live can also create custom control surfaces for hardware integration.
