3-matic allows you to modify and reform the project, allowing (re) to design CAD data, scanned or optimized for topology for 3D printing.
3-matic allows you to modify and reform the project, allowing (re) to design CAD data, scanned or optimized for topology for 3D printing. 3-matic is the ideal tool to clean and improve the surface quality of approximate topology data.
3-matic allows you to create complex, 3D printable internal and external structures that increase strength, provide cushioning, increase porosity or simply reduce the weight of your design (lightweight structures). Plus, you can easily enhance your design with textures, perforations, and aesthetic or functional patterns. Because you work directly with STL data, your design is ready for FEA analysis or can be used for 3D printing.
Key features and benefits
The 3-matic comes standard with sketcher and CAD functions, which help simplify topology data if needed. Working directly at STL levels generates a high degree of freedom: parts of the geometry can be easily replaced by another geometry, projected in 3-matic or imported from a CAD package. In addition, 3-matic contains several operations to improve the surface quality of topology data, and parts of a project can be replaced by a truss structure. Finally, making changes directly to the STL data makes your design immediately ready for FEA analysis or 3D printing.
