Altair HyperGraph is an extremely capable and highly automated plotting client for evaluating thousands of curves without losing the overview. It provides effortless curve handling and fits perfectly into any work environment.
Altair HyperGraph is a powerful data analysis and plotting tool with interfaces for many popular file formats. Its sophisticated mathematical mechanism is capable of processing even the most complex mathematical expressions. HyperGraph combines these features with high-quality presentation and customization capabilities to create a complete data analysis system for any organization.
Benefits
HyperGraph minimizes manual effort and the time it takes to generate graphics. The automatic plot builder generates a family of fully labeled plots from the data file(s). The plot builder is customizable. All new curves can be plotted in a predefined layout.
Eliminates repetitive tasks. Plot macros capture and automate common mathematical expressions.
Report templates can capture and automate the creation of entire pages of data plots. They can be reused for variations of similar models and models.
The HyperGraph interface and its tools are customizable to adapt to any engineering environment.
A library of more than 200 mathematical functions is included and user-defined mathematical functions can be added.
HyperGraph supports drives from importing data through predefined functions. Converting between units can't be easier.
Automation tools are provided for efficient data analysis and reporting.
Sequential test and simulation results can be overlaid for visualization and analysis.
TableView creates a spreadsheet similar to Excel within HyperWorks Desktop. Value-dependent formatting allows easy detection of key endpoint indicators (KPIs).
The active session can be exported directly to HTML or PowerPoint.
Resources
Plot Maker
Altair HyperGraph's automatic plot builder generates a series of fully annotated XY charts, polar charts, bar charts, and complex charts directly from the engineering and test data files. A wide variety of formatting options allow users to specify how plotted data will be displayed and organized on session pages, including mathematical operations during import.
Batch details
An intuitive, browser-driven interface provides users with direct access to edit or modify all areas of the plot, including axe, header, footer, caption, and curve properties. Multiple entities can be filtered and edited simultaneously using the plot browser property tables.
HyperGraph also contains a style sheet utility that captures all plot settings, such as fonts and colors, and applies them to other plots in a session. HyperGraph supports Linear, Log10, Log20, and Decibel scales, a variety of line styles, symbols, and colors, as well as full user control over text size, color, and style.
Analyzing your data
Create new mathematical curves from existing data curves by writing mathematical expressions or selecting from a library of more than 215 functions and built-in mathematical operators. In addition, users can take advantage of HyperGraph interfaces with HyperMath, Python, or MATLAB to use any existing mathematical functions. HyperGraph also contains a sophisticated mathematical mechanism for performing complex mathematical operations or creating custom mathematical expressions, including:
In addition, HyperGraph also provides these data analysis tools:
Report generation
HyperGraph incorporated functionality to directly export entire sessions to predefined PowerPoint business templates. Users have detailed control of formatting and exported content. HyperGraph is embedding links in the PowerPoint report so that updates with new simulation results are possible later in the project. Animations can be exported in .avi, .gif, or Altair .h3d format, which allows you to animate simulations directly in a PowerPoint with the .h3d HyperView Player.
Post-processing sessions from multiple windows and multiple pages can be saved as report templates and applied to other result files, such as similar projects or template variants. Export to PowerPoint.
