Road modeling requires estimation of emissions from mobile sources and their subsequent dispersion. USEPA has already announced in 2015 the exclusion of current models. These include CALINE4, CAL3QHC, CAL3QHCR. In addition, the EPA has launched the most advanced emissions estimation model now denoted MOVES2014. Because of these changes, the U.S. National Academy of Sciences and the Transportation Research Council, on behalf of USEPA, are delivering TRAQS, an open source graphical interface to integrate MOVES2014 and AERMOD to effectively eliminate the use of obsolete models.
