What is ArCADia-IFC?

The ArCADia-IFC program allows the user to import IFC files (for example, revit and archicad) into the ArCADia BIM system, as well as to export an architectural project along with the facilities and networks in IFC format.

About BIM (Building Information Modeling):

Bim (Building Information Modeling) is a project oriented towards creating a comprehensive model of a building.

In this model, both the architectural structure and the actual location of the elements of the designed installations are designed.

The system modules use a shared database of information about construction works, which enables full cooperation between individual disciplines.

Individual discipline:

There is no need, however, to use all modules – the designer can employ only the selected ones. The modules allow us to create a full-fledged individual discipline design, even if the design as a whole is not powered by BIM.

cooperation:

While the most efficient way to perform a design process is by using a system, our well-developed IFC interface allows cooperation with other programs such as Allplan, ArchiCAD, or Revit. It allows the user to import the body of a building into a vertical architecture program, add a model that includes installations, and, once the work is finished, export the comprehensive model as a whole, or just a few selected elements (such as installations) to, for example, Revit.

globalization:

ArCADiasoft is the only company in Poland to create such comprehensive software powered by BIM. At the moment, our programs are sold in many countries around the world.

The program allows you to import the body of a building in IFC format (for example, Revit and ArchiCAD) while transforming objects (walls, ceilings) into elements of the ArCADia BIM system.

Exports:

When a project, with installations and external networks, is imported, the elements of those installations are loaded as 3D objects with information about their properties. The program exports ArCADia BIM systems in IFC format, exporting the body of a building with external installations and networks.

3d:

If a design was created and exported, objects imported from an IFC file are converted to ArCADia BIM system elements or 3D objects with information about their properties. If the objects do not meet the system assumptions they cannot be loaded when imported.

Note:

ArCADia-IFC program requirements:

All industry-specific modules require a license to:

ArCADia LT or ArCADia 10 or ArCADia PLUS 10 or AutoCAD 2013/2014/2015.

If an industry-specific module is installed as an overlay for AutoCAD, the ARCADia AC module is required.

ArCADia-IFC system requirements:

Pentium-class computer (Intel Core i5 recommended)

2 GB of minimum RAM (8 GB recommended)

About 3 GB of free hard disk space for installation

A DirectX 9.0 compatible graphics card (a 1GB RAM card is recommended)

O: Windows 10 or Windows 8 or Windows 7
