WHAT IS ARCADIA LT?
ArCADia LT is a fully functional, easy-to-operate and intuitive CAD program that allows object-oriented creation of 2D building documentation and save files to the 2013 DWG format. It is a basic graphic design tool for the construction industry in its broadest sense.

Managing a drawing of a building:

The automatically created 3D view is available in a separate window to allow a presentation of the entire body of the building or, for example, a part of a level.
Insertion:
Elements such as walls, windows, doors, are now inserted with the use of the smart tracking function.
Walls:
Selecting walls of defined types or configuration of specified composite walls.
An integrated catalogue of building materials based on PN-EN 6946 and PN-EN 12524.
Inserting invisible virtual walls into 3D view or cross section. They divide the room space to distinguish an open space function, for example.
The heat transfer coefficient is automatically calculated on the basis of the materials selected for the spatial dividers (walls, ceilings, roof).
Windows and doors:
Inserting windows and doors through program library parameters and creating user-defined windows and ports.
The possibility of setting the protrusion of the window inside and outside a room, as well as its thickness.
The possibility of turning off the protusion.

Automatic insertion of floors (according to a level sketch).
ARCADIA LT: AUNTS TERIVA
The module is used to prepare drawings for structural systems of Teriva ceilings. The designs include all the main elements of the system: ceiling beams, cross beams, hidden beams, cutters, KZE and KWE ring finishes, KZN and KWN lintel elements, support grids and additionally all necessary bills of materials covering the listed elements, complemented with the reinforced Steel and monolithic concrete needed to create a ceiling.
Automatic and manual calculation of all Teriva ceilings (4.0/1; 4.0/2; 4.0/3; 6.0; 8.0) in the ceiling areas anyway.
Automatic distribution of beams, cross beams and beams on internal and external walls and on the main beams.
Automatic configuration of a cutter system for openings and beams for partitions.
Automatic resolution of a side ceiling access to a wall.
Automatic calculation and configuration of the required plan and offset networks.
Quarters:
Automatic creation of closed-contour rooms of virtual walls and walls.
Temperature and lighting requirements are automatically assigned to rooms according to their names.
The ability to change the graphic image of a room in the view, for example, by padding or color.
Binding beams:

Automatic creation of a terrain model based on point heights from digital DWG maps.
Insertion of a terrain plane using point or line heights.
Inserting objects that simulate elements of a network or existing objects on the ground to check for collisions in the project.
3D Vision:
By inserting and modifying the camera settings, from an observer's point of view, which can be used to view a drawing or to save a visualization.
The current scene can be saved to a file in BMP, JPG, or PNG formats.
AUXILIARY ELEMENTS OF ArCADia LT:
Axes:
The possibility to insert a grid of modular shafts, including complete editing options.
Title blocks:
Creating user-defined title blocks in the dialog window or using graphic field editing options.
Inserting automatic (taken from a project) or user-defined text into a title block.
Saving title blocks for the project or program library.
Models:
Saving user-defined settings from elements (bullets, fonts, default types, heights, etc.).
The "Type Manager" is used to manage types used in a document and existing in the global library. From now on, it can be saved in templates that object types will be used for.
Layouts:
Groups of elements of various types can be saved in a single type. All connections, element sizes, and other parameters of individual elements
can be saved in a single layout that can be used in future projects. The layout can also be divided to modify individual group elements.
Library of type:
A built-in type library for all elements of each module.
Modify the library during design, saving the created types.
Modify the library in the library window by adding, editing, and deleting types from the global/user library or the project library.
Dimension:
The arbitrary linear and angular sizing of a design.
Listing:
Automatically created room listings for each level.
Automatically created listings of windows and doors, including symbols.
Lists can be exported to an RTF file and to a spreadsheet (CSV) file.
Communicate with other systems.
Projects can be exported in XML format.
The ability to edit and correct listings before they are saved. Print and addition listings, for example, a logo.
A new word processor called ArCADia-TEXT is available. It starts when exporting to an RTF file.
ArCADia-TEXT provides the following formats: RTF, DOC, DOCX, TXT and PDF.
OBJECTS:
An integrated library of elements allows drawings to be detailed with the necessary architectural 2D symbols.
A library of 3D objects allows created interiors to be organized.
The object catalog can be extended with new libraries.
User-defined objects created with 2D elements can be saved to the program library.
2D and 3D objects can be inserted at an angle relative to the Z axis given during insertion.
The ability to rotate objects on the X and Y axes and change a symbol in a visualization when needed.
COLLISIONS (automatic detection of collisions and intersections between arcadia bim system elements):
Collisions of any element in the ArCADia BIM system can be listed free of charge.
Clear lists of collisions are available in the design and point indicators in the plane and 3D view.
Graphics engine
ArCADia LT allows the user to draw and edit 2D documents, upload checkered images (e.g., geodesic maps), describe drawings using TrueType or SHX fonts, insert blocks from other documents, and print the documentation intuitively.
Program possibilities:
The intuitive interface allows you to work in coordinates or enter data using lengths and angles. The command bar changes at various stages of the drawing and modification process and offers the most useful helper options at the moment. By selecting the functions that are most important to the drawing, you have allowed to implement options in an orderly and simple manner. In addition, the most important tools (on and off the grid, "Ortho", entity dockings, Project Manager, the 3D preview window and interface theme modifications) have been placed at the bottom of the screen, which makes communication with the program and the work itself easier and faster.
Drawing:
Draws any element using lines, polylines, circles, arcs, ellipses, regular polygons, and rectangles.
Edits drawing elements through the following tools: Move, Copy, Scalar, Rotate, Mirror, Matrix, Crop, Explode, and Scroll. The user selects the item to be changed and then indicates the function to be performed.
Closed sketches: Circles, polygons, and rectangles can be freely incubated using a pattern indicated in the element properties window.
Creates and saves blocks:
groups of elements that form a particular symbol. A block is saved in a new document and can be inserted in both the drawing that was created and any other drawing. Each time a block is inserted, the program asks about the possible scaling and rotation.
The description of drawings is created using a text of several lines with Fonts SHX and TrueType. The text is inserted into an additional window that appears after the options are activated. Its size, font type, justification, and other similar elements are defined in the Multiline Text window.
You can insert bitmap basemaps into popular formats such as JPG, BMP, TIF, and PNG. The following tools are available here: scale, trim, change lightness, contrast and fading.
Printing on arcadia LT:
The print sheet is placed in the drawing area by default. Clearly and simply, it shows how the impression will be.
The size of the print sheet and the scale of the print can be set intuitively.
Program options are expanded by the basic functions of the ArCADia BIM system or intelligent objects by creating building models constructed from the options of industry-specific consecutive modules.
ArCADiasoft is a member of the ITC. Some IntelliCAD 8 source codes were used in the program.
