What is Arcadia-water supply installations?

ArCADia-WATER SUPPLY INSTALLATIONS is an industry-specific module of the ArCADia BIM system, based on the ideology of building information modeling (BIM). The program can be used to produce professional design documentation of a gas connection, including an external gas system.

The program is aimed at both gas networks and system designers and all people associated with the plumbing and civil engineering installation sectors. It can be used for object-oriented creation of drawings of gas connections and elements of the external gas system (located outside a building or a group of buildings). The design can be carried out in spatial development plans in the form of cadastral base maps or the user's own drawings representing an existing network or proposal.

The ArCADia-EXTERNAL GAS INSTALLATIONS program offers the possibility of automatically creating design diagrams and longitudinal profiles for pipeline routes, including system elements. The program calculates the data required for the correct design of a system in terms of checking the correct pipe diameters and determining pressure dropouts in the design sections.

Features of ArCADia-EXTERNAL:

• The generation of external gas system drawings with regard to piping routes, closing connections, locations and dimensions of autonomous gas and wall boxes.
• Creating profiles and design diagrams.
• The determination of gas flow in sections of external gas system lines.
• The calculation of pressure dropouts in the external lines of the gas system.
• Checking a gas system designed for correction.
• The generation of design reports.
• The generation of ready-made material accounts.
• The generation of hydraulic calculations.
• The possibility of quickly and simply adding databases to the main program library and selecting folders to use in a given system project.
• The generation of material accounts used in the project.
• Exporting material accounts to cost estimation programs.

NOTE:

ArCADia-EXTERNAL requirements:

• To work, all industry-specific modules need a license to:
• ArCADia LT or ArCADia 10 or ArCADia PLUS 10 or AutoCAD 2013/2014/2015.
• If an industry-specific module is installed as an overlay for AutoCAD, the ARCADia AC module is required.

Pentium-class computer (Intel Core i5 recommended)

2 GB of minimum RAM (8 GB recommended)

About 3 GB of free hard disk space for installation

A DirectX 9.0 compatible graphics card (a 1GB RAM card is recommended)
