What is ARK for IIS?

ARK for IIS (ARKIIS) is a powerful reporting tool for Microsoft IIS administrators. ARKIIS introduces Microsoft Internet Information Services and later configuration information from the IIS configuration store in the form of Trees, Tables, and Views. All categories of information reported by ARKIIS are available on various web servers and websites. ARKIIS is particularly useful in monitoring and tracking web servers that have a large number of sites, virtual directories, and associated configuration settings.

• No agent installation. The information on the remote IIS servers is collected, processed, and displayed on the same machine where ARKIIS is installed.
• The information is conveniently organized into separate tab views and fields. For example, information about all sites and virtual directories and their settings can be seen in a single view, rather than navigating a site or directory at a time.
• Compare configuration settings for different web servers, websites, virtual directories, and security information.
• Create your own custom reports with fields external to IIS, and also periodically check for new sites added to IIS.
• Filter the unwanted fields and select the fields you want to view.
• Apply powerful conditional queries to obtain a constrained subset of information.
• Prepare and print tabular management reports. IIS webmasters and administrators will be able to accurately define, view, print, and report IIS configuration reports.

Filter and customize data

Powerful filter ing and customization options for tracking and reporting only the desired information on different objects and their properties.

Quick filter: Allows you to quickly filter data based on search sequences and numbers. For example, all sites that start with "P" can be filtered by a simple string filter 'Site name' starts with 'p'. A simple string filter using "DefaultAppPool" as search string will display all sites with DefaultAppPool"" as your application pool.

Advanced filter: Allows the user to select columns to display, perform advanced query-based filtering using field names and their values, and save the filter configuration for future use. Selecting and applying a saved filter will apply the filter and directly produce the subset of data you want.

Integrated reports

Allows users to quickly select and manage common and frequently used reports. These useful predefined reports were provided with some of the most common tasks in IIS reporting in mind.

Custom Reports

Create your own reports with standard IIS fields, custom fields (say, Site Owners, Site Description), and check for new sites added to IIS.

Server and site comparison

Compare the configuration settings of the web server, web site, and virtual directory through standard comparison reports.

Manage favorite servers and sites

Web servers and sites that need special attention can be tracked using "Manage favorite groups" through Standard Site Reports.

All reports for offline export to the MS-Access database / HTML / Values separated by comma (CSV) / file formats XLS / PDF / TIFF.
