What is Aspose.Tasks?

Aspose.Tasks product family combines project management APIs to generate, edit, convert, process, and print Microsoft Project documents within .NET and Java applications without using Microsoft Project. It supports writing project files in MPP and XML file formats as well to instantly view defined properties and project information. Developers can easily track all phases of project management, such as project planning, defining properties and tracking, as well as costs, budget and project construction schedules using calendars. Other data properties for project manipulation such as tasks, resource resource assignments, and extended attributes are also supported.

Aspose.Tasks Product family offers individual solutions for all popular development environments:

• Aspose.Tasks for .NET offers project management APIs that allow .NET applications not only to read and manipulate Microsoft Project documents, but also write Microsoft Project documents in both MPP and XML formats – all without using Microsoft Project. As with all Aspose file format APIs – Aspose.Tasks for .NET works well with both WinForms and Web form applications.
• Aspose.Tasks for Java offers project management APIs that allows Java application developers to provide Microsoft Project document handling capability in their applications – all without using Microsoft Project.
