What is Aster ?

ASTER is a program that allows you to create some workplaces on the basis of a single PC. ASTER is a multiterminal software for Windows XP / 7/8/10. ASTER does not use thin clients and terminal stations, i.e. ASTER is analogous to multiterminal programs such as MS MultiPoint, SoftXpand, Betwin, Userful, etc. ASTER is being used successfully not only for computer equipment, libraries, offices, cafes and even for games and videos.

To create an additional workplace - simply connect one more monitor (you can connect to the same video card), a keyboard and a mouse to the computer (and if necessary - microphone, speaker, joystick or gamepad).

Monitors can be connected by VGA/DVI/HDMI/DP cables. You can also use external monitors (preferably DisplayLink monitors) via USB or WIFI/LAN connections. After installation and release, ASTER will provide each user with their own standalone desktop.

After installation, ASTER will provide an individual desktop for each monitor, and you can use all workplaces independently, as if each of them had its own PC.

System Requirements

• Intel Pentium III
• Microsoft Windows 2000 / Microsoft Windows XP (32-bit software version)
• 256 MB of RAM (128 MB + 64 MB for each terminal, including the main terminal). The recommended RAM is 512 MB.
• 1 dual output video card or 2 single output video cards of the same series. The supported series of dual output video cards are as follows. Recommended video cards:
• AGP, PCI:
• GeForce FX5200 - GeForce FX5950, GeForce MX440
• Radeon 9500 - Radeon 9800 (excluding All-in-Wonder models)
• PCI-Express:
• GeForce 6200 - GeForce 8800
• Radeon X300 - Radeon X1950 (excluding All-in-Wonder models)
