AUSTAL View software is a graphical user interface for the official air dispersion model of the Federal Environmental Agency of Germany, AUSTAL2000.
AUSTAL View is a graphical user interface for the official air dispersion model of the Federal Environmental Agency of Germany, AUSTAL2000.
The Model AUSTAL2000 was developed in accordance with the German air pollution control regulation TALuft (Technical Instructions on Air Quality).
AUSTAL2000 is a Lagrange particle-tracking air dispersion model that contains its own diagnostic wind field model (TALdia). The model takes into account the influence of topography in the wind field and, therefore, on the dispersion of pollutants.
Visualization modules
AUSTAL View is available in three versions (T, G and TG) and one add-on module. See the description below: AUSTAL View T: This version supports TA Luft chemicals, but does not support odor models (formerly AUSTAL View). AUSTAL View G:
This version supports odor modeling, but does not support The Luft TA chemicals (formerly Vista ODOR). AUSTAL View TG: This version supports all Luft TA chemicals and odor modeling. This version combines the specialized versions AUSTAL View T and AUSTAL View G (formerly AUSTAL View G+). Multi-Core Module: this module allows the use of an executable model, multi-core model (multiprocessor) and allows the use of up to 8 multiprocessors on a single machine.
Integrated graphical user interface Fully integrated interface that combines easy-to-use graphical tools (e.g., fonts, buildings, monitor points and grid), continuous model execution and automated contours, and results publishing.
Powerful 3D visualization
Full 3D view of your entire modeling area. Fonts, buildings, and modeling results are displayed in context with the surrounding terrain.
Apply custom textures to buildings to further enhance building realism. Create an animation file (* .avi) of your 3D visualization. Export to Google Earth This exciting feature lets you export your buildings, fountains, receivers and contours in Google Earth, giving you a more realistic picture of where your pollutants will affect the surrounding areas.
Automated Terrain Data Discharge (SRTM) Advanced terrain processing capabilities available for various terrain data formats such as SRTM, USGS DEM, and XYZ. Automated download of DEM and SRTM files from webGIS. SRTM3 data with a resolution of 90m is available worldwide. Automated conversion of these formats in the GridASCII data format required by the model. Support for multiple basemap formats viewing your site in AUSTAL View is easy. Our full support for a variety of image and base map formats allows you to confidently create your model and see your results in context with your site.
Supported basemaps include: Bitmap, DLG, DXF, JPEG, LULC, MrSID, Shapefile and TIFF/GeoTIFF. Professional Reports Clear communication of your modeling and results are crucial to a successful project. AUSTAL View lets you impress with integrated reporting. "Source Parameters", "Point Monitor Results" and "Maximum Calculation Results" are examples of reports automatically generated by AUSTAL View. Met Data Visualization Tool – Windrose The Meteo View, which is included in the package of this software, allows you to create windrose charts for your weather data.
The following formats are supported: AKT, AKTerm, AKS, series.dmna, zeitreihe.dmna.
Options for manipulating the appearance of windrose are available, such as colors, petal size, grid sectors, etc. Met Data Visualization Tool – Graph.
Meteo View, which is included in the package, can also display wind class bar charts and frequency distribution of the dispersion class and time series graph for wind speed, wind direction, and dispersion class.
German and English versions available.
The AUSTAL2000 model is also available in both languages.
