What is Auto Text Expander?
- Auto Text Expander is an application for creating custom abbreviations for frequently used text.
- The application allows you to create snippets that can be plain text or rich text with images for abbreviations. When you type these abbreviations, the associated snippet will fire and type in any application you're working in on Windows and mac.
- Type faster using abbreviation in any application. If you forget the abbreviation, the keyboard shortcut will suggest it.
- You can add some predefined macros as well as shorthand, which is useful for filling out forms, web forms, etc.
Why Automatic Text Expander?

- If you click the Statistics button, you can see exactly how many keys you saved and translate this to how much time you saved in WPM.
- You can have a backup of all groups and snippets and can restore whenever you want.
- The options are very extensive with the Automatic Text Expander. You can set the Automatic Text Expander to work only with certain applications, which is very useful in certain situations.
- Predefined macros, such as Data, Time.
- Use Fill Macro to store the details you need to fill out regularly in forms etc. and trigger at any time.
