What is AwareABIS?

AwareABIS is an automated biometric identification system (ABIS) for large-scale deduplication using fingerprint, face and iris recognition

Being a highly scalable platform, it performs one-to-many search and one-to-one matching in large biometric data stores. All this thanks to the deployment of biometric data and the combination of algorithms in a cluster of multiple compute nodes.

Extremely large biometric databases (tens of millions of records) cannot be efficiently stored or searched on a single computer. The distribution of comparison and biometric tasks across multiple machines allows even extremely large databases to be searched in a matter of a few seconds.

AwareABIS enables not only massive biometric search tasks, but also complex filtering, search, matching, and link operations that are essential for data preparation and quality control functions such as identity resolution and data deduplication.
