Step-by-step instructions for Windows
- Make sure you are using the latest version of Bank2CSV. Download it from the Bank2CSV download page. Start Bank2CSV and select a transaction file (can be QBO file, OFX file, QFX file, QIF file, or PDF file).
- Review transactions before conversion, make sure the dates are correct, if the correct year, value, withdrawals, and deposits are shown in the corresponding columns.
- Choose the Destination CSV: Regular CSV, XLSX Excel, XLS Excel, CSV Quickbooks Online, CSV Xero.
- Set the date format. The best option for Quickbooks Online is MM/DD/AAAA.
- Set 'Open after conversion' to open the application that handles converted files and start importing right after the conversion.
- Click the 'Convert' button, choose a name for your CSV/Excel file.
- Confirm the name and location of the file.
- Now the CSV file is created.
- Review the csv file you created and import it into Quickbooks Online, Xero, or work with the file in Excel.
