What is BobCAM?

BobCAM for SOLIDWORKS is a Gold Partner add-on to provide faster access to strategic machining operations for simple or complex parts. The latest module gives you powerful wizard-actioned machining strategies to finish 5-axis simultaneous CNC Milling.

CNC Software Machine Simulation

• Use your machine kinematics to simulate the use of your machine

• View the machining process, fixture orientation, and machine movements

Dynamic Machining Strategies

With the new dynamic machining strategies, you can load different associated machining strategies into a single operation. This speeds up the process and allows you to program your parts without having to load different machining features into the tree, and then reselect its geometry, and so on.

New tools for shaft machining capabilities

In BobCAM V4, tapered, T Cutter, Dove Mill and Lollipop tool types have been added. These tools are now available for all Axis 2D/ 2.5 machining features. Now it doesn't matter if you're cutting a pocket, making a profile or engraving. The new V4 update is designed to save time by increasing workflow efficiency and adding critical functionality to program your parts more profitably than before and is a perfect CNC software for milling, routing, waterjet, laser and plasma for 2.5-5 axis CNC machining.

New 3-axis machining features

At BobCAM V4, we've added multiple depths for 3D engraving thinning, advanced planar, advanced Z-level finish with REST, design curves, enhanced equidistance, advanced thinning, and more.
