Bodymovin

What is Bodymovin?

Bodymovin is an extension of After Effects that exports animations to the web. Animations are exported as .json files that use the bodymovin player.js which comes along with the plug-in. You can render animations in the browser in svg, canvas, and html. It supports a subset of After Effects features. Animations can also be natively played on iOS and Android through Lottie

Export animations to json and pngs files (if necessary).

Animations can be played on the web through the bodymovin player or natively on iOS and Android through Lottie.

To play the animations, get the player in the extension panel and upload it to a browser.

• Most fonts are supported, they can be exported as shapes or as text, as long as the font is loaded in the browser.
• A single text declination is supported by text box.
• Not supported: Uppercase style text decorations or vertical scale.

• Expression sliders are supported.
