Events can be created manually or automatically, using synopsis data that specifies the start/end time, event source, target recipients, and encryption type. The system orchestrates the reservation of transport flow resources, such as multiplexers, encoders, and modulators, identifying any overbooking of reserved resources.
The transport stream service panel of the NEXOG G2 Broadcast Orchestrator enables fast service creation and control, supporting all major video formats (SD, HD, 4K), as well as service bitrate strategy and modeling (Guaranteed, Best Effort). The actual service bitrate is calculated dynamically and adjusted according to weather conditions, the video format used, and the modeling strategy selected.
NEXOG G2 Broadcast Orchestrator leverages the BISS-CA standard to manage decoder keys, ensuring that only authorized users can receive the content, while locking the content to unauthorized users. The NEXOG G2 Broadcast Orchestrator can manage and monitor teleportation transmitters to ensure continuous and reliable satellite transmission. Teleport management includes redundancy and switchover in the event of a failure, minimizing the impact on service. The orchestrator maintains a huge global database made up of thousands of takers and their decoders, making it easy to schedule events and secure content.
