Building automation platform

AggreGate Building Automation is a ready-to-use product that supports most industry standards for communications, data storage and visualization, it control algorithm development, and security. It meets the technical requirements found in most BMS-type projects that partners have faced in the last decade.

UMBRELLA MANAGEMENT AND MONITORING

The solutions included in the AggreGate product suite cover all aspects of intelligent building control, including automation, physical security, power management, IT infrastructure management, maintenance and situation management, inventory management, and more.

PHYSICAL SECURITY MANAGEMENT

AggreGate Access Control can act as a physical access control system and vertical transport control system. In other cases, AggreGate can seamlessly integrate with third-party access control solutions to collect security incidents, monitor room occupancy, and refine source data used to optimize energy use.

HVAC MANAGEMENT

The AggreGate SCADA/HMI module set provides vendor-independent automation and programming support for heating, ventilation and air conditioning controllers. All typical protocols are supported, including Modbus, BACnet, OPC, OPC UA and more.

LIGHTING MANAGEMENT

AggreGate BMS SCADA features allow it to manage indoor and outdoor lighting by modeling and programming custom lighting scenarios. Near-real-time orchestration can be conducted by a central server via ip network. Controller-based field-level decentralized logic is not required today.

POWER MANAGEMENT

While AggreGate's capabilities extend to smart grid management, they perfectly encompass energy usage optimization, a crucial point in every building automation project. The same vendor-independent control and monitoring approach through standard communication protocols is used.

IT INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT

AggreGate Network Manager can operate within BMS, providing unmatched flexibility to manage and monitor active network devices, servers and applications, VoIP, IP cameras, security devices, and other IT infrastructure components. No other BMS/SCADA system in the world can offer something similar.

WEB CLIENT

In addition to a unified multi-server desktop operations console application, the AggreGate Building Automation system includes two versions of the web UI: a Java-based browser application capable of running even HMI Builder and a pure HTML5 web client that can run all HMIs and dashboards on devices that do not support Java,  such as Android and iOS smartphones.

MAINTENANCE INTEGRATION

In addition to internal storage and processing logic, AggreGate Building Automation software can route all collected and locally generated events and incidents to any third-party helpdesk/maintenance software that implements flexible handling and debriefing workflows.

INTELLIGENT MEASUREMENT

Having serious references in the fields of Automatic Meter Reading and Advanced AMR, the AggreGate Building Automation system solves the tasks of technological and commercial accounting of water, gas, electricity and other consumables. BMS provides direct support for widely disseminated smart meter protocols such as Meter-Bus and DLMS/COSEM.

WATER /SEWAGE MANAGEMENT

AggreGate BMS can manage water supply even in complicated cases, including multi-level pumping stations in tall buildings. See the Water/Effluent Management section for more information.

BASED ON M2M PLATFORM

AggreGate BMS is built on a powerful and mature AggreGate device management platform. It inherits all the technological benefits of the underlying framework, including open source APIs, failover cluster support, distributed architecture.

INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY

The patented technology of the AggreGate Internet of Things platform introduces many innovations in the field of industrial automation. The core system has built-in support for the internally developed device data normalization method, two-way device synchronization that replaces simple search, device data caching, and other advanced operations.

LINUX BMS

AggreGate is a cross-platform BMS that can be installed on Linux servers and even on Mac OS X. The system preserves 100% of its functionality when working on non-Windows operating systems. It can also communicate with Windows-based OPC servers over a network using DCOM technology.

BROAD PROTOCOL SUPPORT

AggreGate BMS supports most out-of-the-box industrial control protocols, including Modbus, OPC, BACnet, SNMP. Drivers for PLCs that use other protocols can be easily designed using the open source Driver Development Kit (DDK).

ALARM AND EVENT PROCESSING

Advanced expression-based alert with hysteresis (dead band) support. Correlation of events and detection of value oscillation. Alert recognition and escalation rules. Email, SMS, pop-up, sound and other notifications. Automatic and interactive corrective actions. Flexible event processing chains and long-term storage.

VISUAL HMI BUILDER

The integrated HMI Builder supports the combination of grid and absolute layouts within different containers in a widget, allowing the construction of very complex equipment control screens. More than 100 types of components are supported, including container components such as tabbed panel or split panel.

CHARTS AND TRENDS

The dynamic graphics library supports more than 25 chart types, exposing thousands of configurable parameters for setting axes, series renderers, legends, titles, grid lines, reticles. Trends of different types can be added, including linear, exponential, moving average, or percentile.

STATISTICAL PROCESS CONTROL

AggreGate BMS can store long-term time series data in a round-robin (RRD) database, providing extremely compact storage and quick access to historical values. Never seen in other BMS systems, this feature can help with deep data analysis, such as triggering an alert when the daily average of a channel significantly exceeds its annual average.

LIVE PROJECT EDITING

Unlike traditional BMS, AggreGate has no difference between development and runtime environments, and no "project". All development and administrative operations are performed remotely on the production server over secure network connections. Simulation devices, change history tracking, database backups, and optional failover servers keep operations secure.

SCRIPTING AND CONSULTATION

Although the system is adapted for visual operations, it has strong support for server-side and HMI-side scripts. Scripts are written in pure Java language, exposing all system libraries to a developer. In addition, AggreGate BMS has two domain-specific languages: a query language for data mining and an expression language for constructing alert triggers, event filters.

TASK SCHEDULER

All system actions that support a standalone mode can be performed according to a simple or advanced schedule. Simple scheduling ensures that work runs every N seconds, while advanced programming allows for refined planning, such as "Every Tuesday Friday in May at 11:30 pm, during the years 2018-2025."

COMMUNICANT

Any type of license allows you to create an unlimited number of reports. Report source data can be extracted by an expression or query, but the report template generator can create a report template from any tabular data with just two clicks. In addition, templates can be adjusted or created from scratch in the built-in Report Editor.

SQL SUPPORT

AggreGate BMS stores configuration and trend values in a SQL database to ensure uniform access to data. Most enterprise-level databases are supported, including MySQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and others. Trend data storage is fully configurable in terms of sampling storage periods and duration.

SCADA SYMBOL LIBRARY

The installation package includes a large library of dynamic automation symbols in scalable vector graphics (SVG) format. The library is divided into several categories, such as tanks, valves, or tubes. All symbols support instant manipulations, such as changing colors/strokes, zooming and rotating, starting/stopping animations and manipulating individual elements (e.g. tank levels).

OPEN SOURCE SDK

AggreGate Server provides open source APIs for Java and .NET. These APIs allow full remote control of the server and access to all server/device data from any third-party application. It is also possible to create new device drivers and data processing/presentation plug-ins. In addition, AggreGate Server can be controlled via Web Services.

FLEXIBLE SECURITY MODEL

AggreGate IoT Platform establishes a serious security infrastructure for AggreGate BMS, providing flexible role-based access control. In addition, all communications between the server, carrier workstations, IHMs, and third-party systems are performed through SSL-protected connections.
