Caedium Transient

What is Caedium Transient?

Caedium Transient allows you to take your design analysis a step further by exploring simulations and time-dependent results.

With Caedium Transient, you can assess how the physics of your simulation will vary over time. Interactive animation features and simple controls help you step back and forth in time to see your results at any time.

Caedium Transient is an add-on to Caedium and offers the following features:

Simple control

Simple media player as controls

General time duration controls and individual steps

Integrated particle animation

The animated camera allows you to specify the exact preview of your design in individual steps

Play image sequences as movies (.avi) using the movie recorder

Automated simulation telemetry system (telemetry):

Post images on TwitPic and post associated messages (tweets) on Twitter.

Save copies of the Caedium project (.sym) file as the simulation progresses.

Export any supported file type (for example, png) with each simulation update.

Simulate geometry motion

Intuitive geometry motion specification/modification system (requires Builder add-on)

Near real-time playback/review of completed simulation visualization and plots with Transient Archive technology

The 3Dconnexion Control Panel must be started before the release of Caedium to enable 3D mouse support in 3D views

Script playback requires installing Python (recommend Python v3.3.x) and the Python Application-> preference should refer to the full path to python.exe
