What is Carlson Software – SurvPC?

Carlson SurvPC is the first choice in data collection software, combining advanced functionality, ease of use and pure capability: Software that supports a wide variety of equipment, old or new.

Carlson SurvPC is a complete real-time GPS (RTK) and Total Stations data collection system with field coordinate geometry. Supports the widest range of RTK GPS and conventional/robotic stations.

Features

SurvPC is available in more than two dozen languages. These include: English, Spanish, French, French (Canadian), Portuguese, Czech, Dutch, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Greek, Italian, Polish, Hungarian, Swedish, Latvian and others.

The key features and enhancements of SurvPC:

• SurvPC offers the Hybrid + Survey module for GPS and Total Station search at the same time.
• Log Raw GPS is designed to allow static logging without setting up an RTK Rover or Base. The process has been simplified to facilitate use.
• SurvPC offers an advanced full-season search icon to allow you to select the search type from within any live search screen.
• SurvPC supports a laser pointer icon on all live search screens for any full station.
• SurvPC supports overlays for Google web maps, Open Street Maps, and ArcGIS REST. SurvPC also supports user-defined Web Map Servers (WMS/WMTS/TMS).
• SurvPC can read and export PRJ projection files.
• SurvPC includes Snap options within storage points to make it easier to draw in the field as part of the lifting process. An UNDO option has also been included.
• The station full control, Lock/Trace, Target and Laser Pointer icons will now be available on more screens.
• A new status icon will now show the status of the instrument connection on all screens.
• SurvPC includes a "GIS Inspector" feature on the Map screen that allows you to view and edit GIS attributes as linework is created and edited.

• 1 RS-232 serial port to connect a mobile device that has SurvCE to couple the data into the PC
