How does 5nine Cloud Security differ?
5nine Cloud Security is the only unified platform to provide agentless virtual firewall, antivirus, intrusion detection, and anomaly detection for the Microsoft Cloud Platform.
System requirements
All networks/connections in the environment must be configured and stable;
All servers, hosts, and clusters (and all applicable systems) that are involved in the installation must be fully configured and stable. Windows updates/patches must be made prior to installation, if applicable. Make sure that there are no issues related to these updates;
The user(s) must be created in AD (for domain environments) and meet system requirements: the management service user must have administrative privileges on the SQL server (sysadmin) if Windows authentication is used, the host user must have local administrative privileges, and "Log on as a service" privilege. If the same account is used for both management and host services, it must have all the necessary permissions for both services;
The management server (in most cases - dedicated OR shared VM with another service such as the SCVMM management service) must be configured and accessible and have all necessary TCP ports open (TCP ports 8183, 8534, 8789, 8790, and 8939);
All hosts that must be protected by 5nine Cloud Security must have required ports open according to system requirements (TCP ports 8533 and 8788);
Hosts must be ready to restart to install and configure the 5nine filtering extension; The host must also be configured correctly in maintenance or paused mode (applicable to cluster nodes);
The SQL data source must be available, accessible, and configured. If the TCP port is different from the default (1433), the connection string must be specified in the format: sql-server instance, port;
All Hyper-V virtual switches must be configured on all hosts that must be protected;
If the logical SCVMM(s) switch(s) are used, a compliance plugin needs to be installed as part of the product to ensure a compatible state on logical switches. If there are hosts that should not have 5nine Cloud Security installed, but are using the same logical key with those that are, the idle driver will be installed on those hosts for compliance. This driver does not affect the operation of hosts, but it is necessary to maintain a state compatible with the logical key. An alternative way is to have separate logical switches for these hosts that are protected by 5nine and those that are not. This is driven by the customer-approved network/SCVMM framework and not the Cloud 5nine security product;

The Hyper-V module for PowerShell must be installed.
It can be installed from the GUI with the Add Roles and Resources Wizard (can be started from the Server Manager). The component path is as follows: Features -> Remote Server Administration Tools -> Role Administration Tools -> Hyper-V Management Tools -> Hyper-V Module for Windows PowerShell. It can also be installed with the following PowerShell command: Install-WindowsFeature -Name Hyper-V-PowerShell.
