What is Collaborator?

Customize and scale your peer review process to code and documents with the collaborator.

Collaborate and commit to code quality

Collaborator is the leading peer code and document review tool for development teams that take software quality seriously.

  • Comprehensive review features: Review source code, project documents, requirements, user stories, test plans, and documentation in one tool.
  • Proof of Review: Ensure proof with electronic signatures and detailed reports to meet regulatory compliance standards.
  • Integrations: with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira, Eclipse, Visual Studio, and more.
  • Real-time updates: Chained chat shows conversations, as well as highlights changes and visibility defects during each code review.

Perform better peer code reviews with custom templates, workflows, and checklists

Each team and project has unique requirements. Why would the same kind of review work for everything? With custom review templates and checklists in Collaborator, it's easy to create peer review frameworks that really make sense to your team. Once you know what works, you can standardize assessments by defining rules, enforcing workflows, and viewing customizable reports.

Clearly see changes between versions, discuss and mark defects or errors

Collaborator shows lines of code that have been added between the green versions, the lines that have changed to yellow, and the deleted rows in red. Your team can start conversations about your code in the left pane and mark things that need to be changed with a red bug icon. These can be categorized by type and severity.

Build an audit trail with automatic reports and metrics in your peers

Whether you're trying to improve the process or audit, Collaborator makes it easy to report on the data you need. Easily track defect density, inspection fees, and covered lines, so you know how effective the code review process is. When you come across an external audit, showing your work is as simple as saving your colleagues' assessments in a zip file.
