Collect, Analyze & Enforce is the specialist in performance assurance solutions, with a full range of components covering service activation and monitoring, from the core to the extreme. With open automation and visualization platforms, Collect's programmable hardware, and virtualized instrumentation, Analyze & Enforce bring actionable, real-time quality of experience (QoS) and quality of experience (QoE) reports to your network operations.
Flexible, extensible, and easily integrated with multi-vendor networks, the components of the Collect, Analyze & Enforce solution are the right size to provide coverage and scale across the core, metropolitan area, and access.
Orchestrated by programmable, highly automated performance platforms, the right mix of components is easily combined into customized solutions that cover performance assurance, optimization, and networking functions specific to an operator's application and network design requirements.
From initial service activation to visibility into performance per second and the tools to establish and enforce QoS across the network, Collect, Analyze & Enforce can customize a solution that will scale and evolve with the network and the services they guarantee.
Collect performance modules , Analyze & Enforce
Collect's performance modules, Analyze & Enforce, combine small, pluggable hardware with network function virtualization (NFV) test control, compute, and analysis to deliver standards-based performance assurance to every corner of the network. Right-sized for cost-competitive, small-cell broadband and backhaul business service applications, the modules are fully interoperable with third-party probes and handheld devices, as well as standards-based network elements that support Ethernet OAM (Y.1731, 802.3ag) and Layer 3 performance monitoring protocols (PM) TWAMP (RFC-5357).
Performance modules act as test reflectors for service activation (SAT) or PM test sessions – or can host them when paired with Skylight sensors. When used in combination with the Skylight orchestrator, the modules provide one-way latency measurements with exceptional accuracy, as well as path-segmented metrics for rapid fault isolation.
Adding a performance module to legacy equipment brings ubiquitous quality of service (QoS) visibility to each end of the service. Units can be installed in-line or off-line, ensuring they are never a single point of failure when installed at critical network locations. With multiple programmable resource banks, new features can be loaded into modules remotely to keep up with evolving standards and new applications.
As virtual network functions (VNFs) evolve, Accedian's performance modules will become an essential component of virtual client facilities (vCPE) equipment strategies, providing hardware assistance for critical edge functions in the smallest possible package.
Testing and monitoring
Collect, Analyze & Enforce includes agents that can be installed on network elements without built-in support for the performance monitoring reflector. Lightweight and highly customizable, this feature provides full TWAMP-Control & Light support, returning one-way metrics including latency and delay variation.
Performance elements
Accedian's performance elements fuse programmable, ultra-fast packet processing with performance assurance, optimization and MEF-certified networking. A unique dual-plane FPGA architecture separates the functions of traffic conditioning, mapping, filtering, and aggregation from test and measurement processing.
The result is fully parallel traffic processing, test traffic generation and analysis, and per-stream performance monitoring with near-zero latency.
Our full line of interoperable and programmable products open to multiple vendors includes GbE and 10 GbE performance elements that go far beyond standard demarcation functionality. With a unique combination of high-resolution monitoring, built-in activation testing, low-latency networking, and traffic optimization, these devices belong to a class of their own.
