The Colorize tool is a script for later effects that significantly speeds up your color work. Colorize comes packed with many hand-picked color presets. Each preset is editable and you can modify your color swatches at any time. You can even export and import new presets or share them with colleagues or clients.
Colorize is built with many shortcuts that resemble the Illustrator workflow. As soon as you try them out, you'll change the way you work with color in After Effects.
Also coloring tools works with all kinds of layers at the same time and even with multiple compositions. Just make your selection and press the colorize button.
How it works
Make a selection: Select the layer and/or compositions you want to color
Select colors: Choose color palette from the build or add and select.
Coloring: You can color only stroked fills, or both at the same time.
Disable, Enable, Add, and Delete Colors
If you don't need spot color, you can turn it off then bring it back when you need it.

User Interface
It's been done best to blend the Colorize interface with your current After Effects Workspace.
Draggable menus
All drop-down menus and animation thumbnails now support dragging, scrolling, or both.
Color Swatch
Select a color swatch from the drop-down menu. After the selection is made, you can edit the combination or apply one or all of the colors to different parts of the selected layers and compositions using the shortcut combination.
Color group line
All colors in the current color group. Each color group can have up to 10 colors. All color groups have the option of moving up or down one position.
