What is Cornerstone 4?

Cornerstone 4 is the only MacOS SVN client with shelves and checkpoints.

Shelving takes the dirty state of your working directory—that is, your uncommitted modifications—and saves it as a shelf of unfinished changes that you can reapply at any time. Often, when you work with the part of your project, things are in a messy state and you want to change tasks a bit to work on something else. The problem is that you don't want to half-confirm the work only to come back to that point later. The answer to this question is the shelve command.
