- Dependent servers can automatically assume the role of master server in the event of a failure.
- Clients automatically use any available dependent server, then master and any available server.
- Components can try alternate time protocols if the primary protocol fails.
- The audit server can be configured to replicate and auto-fallback on secondary servers (such as in fault recovery locations).
