What is ERPConnect Service?

Connect Microsoft SharePoint and SAP seamlessly

ERPConnect Service consists of three components for direct and unmatched integration of SharePoint and its SAP ERP/BW system. It doesn't require any additional middleware – integration takes place entirely within SharePoint stacking.

ERPConnect Services Runtime

• ERPConnect Services Runtime gives .NET developers the opportunity to use SharePoint as a data hub when accessing SAP.
• Access can be enabled through the Visual Web, Silverlight, and local .NET applications, such as MS Office Add-Ins.
• All security-relevant requirements are addressed by preconfigured access to the SharePoint Secure Store and other single-sign-on mechanisms. An optional plugin for Visual Studio lets you design SAP interfaces with the help of a sophisticated graphic designer.

BCS Connector – ERPConnect Service

This component allows you to connect SharePoint lists with SAP objects or tables – completely without programming knowledge:

• Quickly and easily publish SAP data as external content types in SharePoint 2010 and 2013 and use it in external lists, data columns, and Business Webparts.
• Quick deployment: Perform a pilot scheme for SharePoint-SAP-Integration in just one day.
• Access data in read and write mode.

WebService Designer – ERPConnect Service

WebService Designer provides a powerful and easy-to-use tool for designing and deploying Web services to SharePoint that even involve complicated SAP processes in a clean and simple web service interface. SharePoint architects can make use of a variety of tools and technologies to combine SAP function modules (BAPIs) and SAP-Table graphically accesses to a program sequence. Several of these processes can be grouped and published as a single Web service in SharePoint.

Nintex Workflow – ERPConnect Service

ERPConnect Services simplifies the integration of SAP data into your SharePoint environment. Customers who use Nintex Workflow or Nintex Forms in their SharePoint environment can use ERPConnect Services to access SAP data in their workflow scenarios. The Nintex Workflow Automation Platform is the world's leading SharePoint add-on software for comfortably designing business workflows using a graphic designer. With Nintex Forms, also an add-on tool provided by Nintex, nice input forms for workflows can be easily created – as well as for mobile devices.
