What is EViews Student Version?

EViews Student Version has the same econometric and analytical strength as the EViews Standard Edition. Student Verson also uses the Eviews graphical interface. You can focus on using EViews without having to learn complex commands or navigate between many menus. Thousands of universities, academic institutions and professors around the world have been using EViews to teach econometric analysis for decades.

EViews Student Version Lite:

EViews Student Version Lite is free! Users can download the Lite version to complete their academic work and teachers can use EViews Student Version Lite without worrying about the cost. However, there are some limitations. EViews Student Version Lite offers the same analytical capabilities used in the Student version.

EViews Student Version Capability:

• Maximum observations per series (32-bit version): 4 million (standard), can be increased if desired, subject to memory constraints (save and export is only available in datasets with less than 1500 observations per series)
• Total observations (series x obs per series): LIMITED RAM (save and export is only available in datasets with fewer than 15,000 observations)
• Maximum objects per work file: Limited from RAM (save and export is only available in files with less than 60 objects)
• Maximum number of objects per database: You cannot save the data to the database, but you can read/search from one.

NOTE: The Student Version is subject to data capacity restrictions (1,500 observations per series, 15,000 of the total observations, 60 objects), which can be saved or exported. Users can, without restrictions, work with more data, but files that exceed limits cannot be saved or exported.
