Geo-Slope TEMP/W analyzes thermal changes in the soil as a consequence of environmental factors or the construction of facilities such as buildings or pipeline lines.
Geo-Slope TEMP/W analyzes thermal changes in the soil as a consequence of environmental factors or the construction of facilities such as buildings or pipeline lines.
The software can be applied to thermal analysis and geotechnical designs, civil engineering and mine projects, including facilities subject to freezing and thawing temperature changes.
Features of Geo-Slope TEMP/W:
Convective limit
Convective heat transfer limit conditions simulate artificial surface freezing or other processes involving fluid flow on or via a limiting surface.
Forced convection
Heat transfer is generally governed by convection forces in natural hydrogeologic systems. TEMP/W can be fully integrated with SEEP/W and AIR/W to analyze heat transfer via groundwater flows and air flows, respectively.
Earth-climate interaction
The software analyzes problems involving the coupling between climatic conditions and thermal responses from the earth's surface using the climatic boundary conditions (Limits). Term siphons
Termsiton models
TEMP/W implements strict termssiphon contour conditions that can accommodate 2D or pseudo-3D termsiphon analysis.
