Climate data entry
VADOSE/W provides climatic boundary conditions with the ability to simulate surface vegetation and measure climatic data including surface temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, precipitation and potential evaporation/transpiration.
Evaporation Modeling
Relative soil moisture can be determined when soil temperature and water pressure are simultaneously resolved and the steam flow within the soil is modeled. VADOSA/W meets these requirements, and is completely coupled in two dimensions.
Powerful graphics
Users can plot critical information such as precipitation and infiltration, ice and melting accumulations, plant transpiration, soil freezing and thawing, potential and true evaporation, surface infiltration, runoff and ponding, and groundwater reloading.
Water absorption by roots
VADOSE/W offers a modeling capacity of water absorption by plant roots and vegetation, considering the partition between real evaporation and transpiration, plant stress factors, and root distribution.
