Maximize space and optimize usage and distribution by compressing image files and geospatial data to 5% of its original size, or cut file size in half while maintaining pixel-by-pixel image fidelity. Compressed images are easier to store and share and are perfect for mobile devices and low-bandwidth environments.

Personalize your Images
Create the exact image you need with GeoExpress's powerful editing toolset to crop, balance colors, redesign, mosaic, and more.
Combine multiple images into perfect tiles, create custom image blocks, or export only the sections of the desired images in the exact size and resolution you need. In addition, you can use alpha bands to add real transparency to your images.
Integrate Your Imaging Capabilities with Other Geospatial Applications
The industry standard format, MrSID, integrates seamlessly with other applications, so you can process, sort, and interpret your images without worrying about compatibility. Use GeoExpress in combination with most geospatial applications, including ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, ERDAS, ENVI, Socet GXP and Microstation.
The industry standard for compressing massive geospatial data files
Maximize the value of your geospatial images while saving space and storage cost.
Raster Image Support
Compress scanning images in various formats, such as the industry-standard MrSID image compression format, the jpeg 2000 standard ISO format, and the government standard NITF format.
LiDAR Image Support
Compress your LiDAR data to MrSID and LAZ formats. Reduce the size of your point cloud data by 75% or more while maintaining the accuracy and accuracy of your raw data.
MrSID Technology
Optimized to create MrSID files, a powerful wavelet-based image format that is supported in almost all GIS applications. Built-in pyramids mean that MrSID files load almost instantly in most applications.
Flexible Compression
Specify a compression rate or use lossless compression. For Raster images, also specify the size of a target file, set compression rates per band, or use quantization.
Lossless compression
The patented algorithm allows you to compress your geospatial data for true pixel-by-pixel fidelity.
Unleashed Mosaics
Create smooth tiles using intuitive tools. Your tiles become a single picture perfect for use in any app, remaining fast and responsive.
Color Balance in Images
Automatically adjust brightness, contrast, gamma and more - or use manual controls to make fine adjustments. Balance the color in an image and apply the same changes to all other images at once to create consistency in the images.
Crop and export images
Edit your images to the exact size and resolution you need. Extract a specific scene from an image, create custom image blocks, or crop images to match a shape file. Select from the default export options for the web and print or create your own.
Customize multispectral images
Copy your image bands exactly, change their order, or set different compression rates for each band. MrSID Generation 4 (MG4) image files support up to 255 image bands.
System Requirements
Hardware
Intel 2.5 GHz processor with 4 or more cores
4 GB RAM
300 MB of disk space for installation
Processor and RAM requirements are minimal recommendations. In general, "more" and "faster" are desirable when contemplating these system resources.
More disk space is required for image storage as it is required during image processing. The amount of disk space required depends on your images. Large disk drives and a fast hard drive or SSD or hybrid drive will improve application performance.
