What does Gilisoft USB Lock do?

How often were your data stolen because someone connected an unauthorized USB to your computer and copied your files? Well, you don't have to worry because the solution to disable or activate USB ports is quite simple.

GiliSoft USB Lock is a data leak prevention tool that prevents you from leaking and copying your data into USB drives (Android phone/iPhone), external drives, CDs/DVDs or other portable devices. Once installed, USB Lock lets you lock all drives and devices that don't belong to you. USB Lock can stop stealing or hacking and you can share your PC with anyone without fear of data theft. This is an easy SECURE USB software and the powerful Endpoint DLP Suite that helps lock the USB port, make the DVD/CD burner read-only, block some websites, ban some programs and disable more devices. Exclusive USB lock features

Lock USB/SD drives

Disable reading of USB / SD disks, disable burning on USB / SD disks, lock partition(s) that are not system. It does not allow any type of USB/SD drive to access your computer unless you authorize it or are whitelisted from trusted devices.

Blocking CD, block media, and Blu-ray discs

Turn off dvd/CD disc scans or make the DVD/CD burner read-only. This app also blocks any disc that uses the hub, compartment, combo drive, or CD/DVD drive and you can access a drive letter.

Whitelist of trusted devices

You can create a whitelist to allow 'certain approved' USB thumb drives. It will then lock all USB drives except those on the whitelist.

Reports and records

USB Lock provides full reports and logs: (1) USB Activity - monitors all file operations (such as creating deletion files) on all USB disks connected to your computer. (2) Deny and allow access history. (3) White list of activities.

Site blocking

Block access to some sites. This utility allows you to block the display of unwanted websites in Internet Explorer. If a site is blocked, the user will be routed to a blank page or to a "blocked page" and the content of the original page will not be uploaded to their PC.

Device lock

The program can be used to restrict read or write access to removable media devices such as CD, DVD, floppy disk, SD card players, flash drives and USB. It can also be used to disable iPhone, Android phone, printer, modem, ports with LPT, infrared, blue tooth, 1394 ports.

Program Blocking

Block any program from running, including IE, Outlook, AOL, AIM, Dropbox, and more. You can even lock your control panel with just one click.

Powerful self-protection mode

No one can uninstall this software without password and you can hide this program in Invisible Mode. When someone enters the wrong password more than 5 times, they send alarm notifications to their default email and the unknown login is temporarily banned.

Copy protection

The program uses an advanced level of data leak prevention technology that does not allow duplication of your important files and copyrighted material on any USB drive or other storage devices without your permission.

Data leakage prevention

This prevents your data from leaking to USB drives and other storage devices, allowing you to control which device can access your computer and lock all other unauthorized devices that don't belong to you.
