Will my team plan replace my developer's plan? No. The team plan provides unlimited private repositories for an organization, while the developer plan provides unlimited private repositories for you personally.

Your developer plan is like your own organization. If you work with others on a team plan, you'll need a separate account for personal repositories.

Public repositories, however, are always free for everyone. For a paid organization on GitHub.com, what types of users will be charged? You must purchase a seat for each user in your organization.

Each organization member and owner, pending guest and external contributor with access to one or more private repositories fills a seat.

External employees with access to only public repositories and collection managers do not occupy seats.
