Comprehensive stability analysis for gravity containment walls
Greta analyzes the stability of a gravity, stem, gabion or cradle walls and determines the flaming moments and shear forces within the wall. The software allows you to calculate the sliding resistance and the support capacity of the wall. You can add point loads to the wall to represent brackets or anchors, and change the water pressure in front of or behind the wall.
In addition, with Greta, you can change the ground strata on both sides of the wall, vary the geometry of the wall with a slanted face, different thicknesses and more. Whatever the situation, accurately replicate it with our software.
Trusted and verified by leading engineering companies around the world, the program is easy to set up, simple to use and provides detailed and graphically presentable results.
How Greta works
Input: Use the Wizard to insert two sets of ground pressure coefficients behind and in front of the wall. One set is used to calculate bending moments and shear forces on the rod, heel and toe of the retaining wall and the other is used to calculate the resulting force at the base
Analysis: Greta performs up to three calculations that assess the overall stability of the wall in relation to slips and tipping, the overall stability in relation to load capacity and shear forces and bending moments in the rod.
Output: Full exportable tabular and graphic outputs are available. The COM interface can be used to handle outputs.
