Edit data using the right pane

You can choose the most convenient way to edit data for your web application. You can combine DHTMLX Grid with the Form widget and organize them with the help of DHTMLX Layout. When a user wants to create or edit a line, the form appears to the right of the grid.

Edit data using the modal window

Alternatively, end users can edit the contents of the grid using a modal window. The DHTMLX Window component allows you to attach a form with all possible editing options. There you can add anything from simple input fields to combo boxes, color pickers and even file uploaders.

Filter data using sidebar

Filtering is another feature required in JavaScript data tables. In addition to the filters per column, you can implement filters with the help of the Form widget anywhere outside the grid. One of the most popular options is to place filters in the DHTMLX Sidebar to the left of the grid.

Filter data using the toolbar

If you want to opt for compact filters, you can use the DHTMLX toolbar. It allows you to organize all the fields needed for filtering at the top of the page. Filters can contain any form control, such as autofill combo boxes, calendars, sliders, check boxes, radio buttons, etc.
