HOUDINI ENGINE PLUG-INS
Houdini Engine brings a procedural node-based approach to your favorite application. Create networks that define a recipe that can be applied repeatedly, and then group them to create custom smart assets. Share these assets with colleagues who can upload them directly to 3D apps like Autodesk Maya or Cinema 4D or in game publishers like Unity or Unreal Engine.
HOUDINI
In Houdini, everything you do creates a knot. These nodes are connected to networks that define a data flow that facilitates return and changes. Networks can also be encapsulated in single nodes, called Houdini Digital Assets, which are easy to share with colleagues. These assets provide tools created by artists that bring procedural solutions to their pipelines.
IN THE APPLICATION
Houdini Engine lets you load Houdini Digital Assets into other 3D applications. All parameters added to the asset are available for editing, and identifiers can be configured in the display window for interactive manipulation. An asset can be used multiple times at one level or at multiple levels. Changes made to the main asset, even in production, will update all asset instantiations.

Houdini Engine can also be used to batch process Houdini in non-graphical mode in the farm. You can use Houdini Engine licenses in batch mode to distribute a wide variety of important tasks such as rendering, dynamic simulation, motion caching, and geometry.
