What is IP Video System Design Tool?

This software offers a new projection of modern surveillance systems quickly and easily.

With the IP Video System Design Tool, you:

• Increases the efficiency of your security system while reducing costs to find the best camera locations.
• Calculates the camera's precise focal length, viewing angles, and pixel density (PPM and PPF) in seconds.
• Checks the identification, recognition, observation, detection, and monitoring zones of each camera on your site plan.
• Minimizes dead zones to increase the level of security of your facilities using 2D and 3D modeling.
• Gets estimates of the required network bandwidth and calculates the HD storage space required for video files.
• Loads the site plan or the floor plan of the JPEG, PNG, PDF, and TIFF file. Imports drawings from AutoCAD DWG (and the Pro version as well).
• Prints or exports your project to PDF. Copies your calculations, drawings, and 3D models to MS Word, Excel, Visio, or other software to create excellent design documentation.

Additional information

This tool calculates network bandwidth and storage space for 15 camera resolutions and various compression methods, including H.264, MPEG4, and Motion JPEG. It also allows the system designer to find optimal FPS and compression that adjusts LAN resources and calculates the HD storage space required. Frame size estimates are based on the compaction search result, thanks to extensive knowledge of compression algorithms and wide range of experimental real-life CCTV data.
