Advanced Protection of Bytecode Java

Zelix KlassMaster provides Java bytecode protection:

  • Breakthrough with Flow Obfuscation technology
  • Unique exception obscuration technology
  • Innovative String Encryption technology.
  • Robustness of Reference Blocking Technology that allows you to selectively obscure field accesses or method calls.

Reduced java bytecode size maximized

As well as protecting your Java bytecode from being compiled to understandable source code, the Zelix KlassMaster Name Obfuscation reduces the size of your bytecode by decreasing the size of its package, class, field, and method names. Zelix KlassMaster's Trim feature further reduces the size of the bytecode by removing unused classes, fields, and methods.

Powerful but easy to use

Zelix KlassMaster provides several interfaces, one of which is easy to use and facilitates the learning curve for beginners. However, it is the powerful yet intuitive, ZKM Script language interface that allows you to automate the obfuscation process and integrate it into your build cycle. Zelix KlassMaster also provides a Build Tool Interface to allow you to run ZKM Scripts from a build tool, such as Apache Ant.

Zelix KlassMaster's unique AutoReflection technology solves the problem of the so-called Java Reflection API. This can dramatically reduce the amount of work you need to do if you are overshadowing classes that contain complex or obscure REFLECTION API calls.

Zelix KlassMaster's Smart Save technology makes the Java obfuscation process easier by simplifying the handling of JAR, resource, and Enterprise Java Beans implementation descriptor files. Zelix KlassMaster standard name exclusions provide automatic support for Serialization, RMI, and JavaBeans, and support for Java ME & JEE applications. In addition, it supports Incremental Obfuscation, ensuring consistent renaming of objects and consistent flow obfuscation in your releases.

Finally, Zelix KlassMaster helps you debug your beta releases with its unique Line Number Scrambling technology. This technology allows you to determine the actual line numbers of stack traces reported by beta test customers without reducing the level of protection of your code. You can save your developers from weeks of work. Zelix KlassMaster also provides the GUI Stack Trace Translate tool to make deciphering stack strokes effortlessly obfuscated.

System Requirements

Zelix KlassMaster requires Java 8 (JDK 1.8 or higher) to run. However, it can process java byte code from versions 1.1 up to and including Java 12. However, note that Zelix KlassMaster version 10 requires a newer version of a Java 8 JVM to run. If you use an Oracle JVM earlier than 1.8.0_152, you may experience a JVM failure due to HotSpot errors.
