What is Jazler VideoStar?

Easy-to-use graphics programming

Create multiple graphics, bottom thirds, station logo, titles, parent guides, and assign them to specific videos, times, or playlists.

Live graphics update

Create lower thirds and dynamically update with your titles while Jazler is in the air. Show or hide them manually by overlaying a video input, camera, or video playing on the jazler playlist.

Advanced editing video library

Editing your video library has never been easier, offering unlimited ways to organize and categorize your video collection. Very useful for music TV channels, but also works perfectly on general content channels.

QuickEdit feature in the video library

Edit the properties of videos without getting into the analysis, quickly and easily on the library screen. Just click on the video and change its properties in the menu that will be displayed.

Bulk change of categories, properties, file locations, and parent orientation

You can change multiple properties in bulk by clicking on videos with Ctrl or Shift. Then right-click and select your action.

Bumpers Library

Jazler hosts a dedicated library for all bumpers and stations IDs. Each element can be categorized for easy localization.

Advanced point programming

The VS2's point programming interface allows you to easily program different points on different days and times quickly. It also provides the ability to play random points based on a list at specific times (primarily used for station identification). Jazler's reporting tool can also print a detailed report so you can return it to your customer or media store. (for the scheduled or for the actual report of the reproduced spots). The spot management system also provides the ability to adjust when the spot pack will start or end. You can also be notified if a specific package exceeds the maximum time to avoid a crowded and tiring business break.

Event Library

A special library where you can store all your video elements that don't fit into the other libraries. These elements can be show and other introductions, news identifiers, etc.

Direct playback of video files

No time to import a file into Jazler and play it? Need to play a file immediately? The studio screen now hosts a browser for direct playback of video files without the need to import them into the library. After you insert it into the playlist, you can also add specific graphics to overcompose it.

Printing reports

Print your point reports on an elegant document that includes your logo and information.

Security with user accounts to access only the specified libraries.

Unlimited LAN workstations to edit libraries at the same time while the studio is in the air.

Edit your libraries with Jazler Workstation on any of your computers while Studio is on the air. You have no restrictions on the number of workstations that will be installed.

Advanced playlist creation

VideoStar offers the ability to create playlists manually, create automated playlists based on a clock (for music channels), insert commercial breaks to create total traffic for a specific day, edit the start and end points of videos specifically for a playlist without saving it to the library.

Monitor and edit a video track before it airs

A new, studio-friendly environment where you can easily and accurately monitor and edit a track.

Advanced automated rotation programming for music channels

The scheduler in VS2 is designed and based on the clock system, where you can create clocks and schedule them at what time to be active and touch. A clock is a virtual playlist in which you do not insert the exact music clip, but its category or properties

Example: Song (Hot Current)> Song (Current 1)> Bumpers (Category A)> Song (90s) (Pop)> Bumpers (Category B)> Song (R&B)

Relay/go through up to 3 different video sources

Have 3 different video sources for line input mode and program which one you want to display and when. Line input mode can also be stopped automatically for business intervals. The line input can also play a USB camera, with audio from a different selected source if needed.

SuperSearch Engine in studio

The top search engine lets you search for tracks in the library and return to results as you type. Search also has the ability to search the video library as a search machine by searching the entire database to find a matching result (Name, Title).

Powerful video engine

Jazler's playback engine can play the most popular professional video formats, from SD to 4K videos, even in 3D! It also increases or decreases the scale of a video to the desired output resolution without loss of quality. It also supports 2 different video outputs, so you can issue the main program at 2 different resolutions.

Built-in audio leveling

The leveling of audio in the videos has always been a headache. Jazler has two different mechanisms (Compressor and AGC) that can smooth the audio leveling of your videos.

CPU: Intel i7 (for HD video), i5, Quad, or Duo (for SD video) (if the same computer is coding to the Internet, i7 is preferred for any format)

RAM: DDR3 of 4 GB or more

Video card: Compatible with DirectX 9 (for jazler preview windows only) with the latest version of drivers

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H motherboard or similar.

Hard drive: SSD or RAID (250 MB/s) for uncompressed HD video. At least 100 MB/s for COMPRESSED HD. Do not use green hard drives.
