Maps Made Easy is designed with advanced users. It's not complicated or difficult to use, but the results will allow multiple industries to document, medaem, track, and visualize their assets in a whole new way. Time is money. Maps Made Easy saves time.
Get a new perspective
Google Maps is great and all, but images tend to be at least a few years old and lack the resolution to do real work. Create your own maps and get a new perspective on things with accurate, high-resolution images you control.
3D model-based stitching
We use the most advanced methods available to create our maps. The combination of multiple looks in an area as the aircraft flies over allows us to create a 3D model from which we can derive incredibly accurate orthophoto maps. The textured 3D model can be downloaded and viewed online.
Georeferencing (optional)
Georeferencing is what aligns your images to known points on the terrain. It's not necessary, but with just a few clicks, you can accurately reference your map and use it as an overlay on many GIS systems or Google Earth. Maps Made Easy is the only online georeferencing interface on the Internet.
Inventory Volume Measurement
Web-based volume measurements make measuring and tracking inventory volumes quick and easy. There is no expensive software to buy and measurements can be made directly in your browser. Volumetric measurements are easily shared with others and are stored to track progress over time
Map Pilot app for iOS
The iOS app is first class and helps ensure your flight planning is correct. Set the search area, select your level of detail, and fly. The app will take care of the rest. Easily plan searches for large areas that require multiple batteries. Automatically upload the collected images to Maps Made Easy.
Share with links
Provide the other links to take them directly to maps designated as public. If you see something on one of your maps that you think someone would be interested in, just send the link by email.
Processing of vegetation index by normalized differences (NDVI)
The normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) is a simple graphical indicator that can be used to analyze remote sensing measurements and assess whether the target being observed contains healthy vegetation or not. Maps Made Easy is the internet's easiest way to sew, catalog, and annotate NDVI maps.
Built for professionals
Maps Made Easy is designed with advanced users. It's not complicated or difficult to use, but the results will allow multiple industries to document, medaem, track, and visualize their assets in a whole new way. Time is money. Maps Made Easy saves time.
Share with iFrame embedding codes
Any map you create on the site can be easily incorporated into your own website or blog. The image service is supported by our trusted servers and allows you to control when a map is publicly visible and when it is not.
Fully online processing
Map processing is complicated. It takes a lot of computing power and processor time. If you tried to do the same processing that we're doing on our server created for that purpose, you probably wouldn't have the system resources or couldn't use your computer for hours on end.
Managing multiple visits
Multiple georeferenced visits to the same mapping site can be combined and organized with our drag-and-drop interface. You can quickly create and view a history for each point on the map. This feature is especially useful for monitoring construction, agriculture, pipeline documentation, and solar panel inspection.
