What is MAXQDA Analytics Pro 2020?

MAXQDA Analytics Pro provides you with a wide range of tools for statistical analysis. Perfectly quantify your qualitative data and enrich your analysis with evidence and plausibility. Statistically analyze your qualitative data in MAXQDA or import and connect your data to datasets in Excel or SPSS format.

MaxQDA Analytics: Data compatibility

Use the Statistics module to perform statistical calculations with maxQDA project data. Statistically analyze code frequencies in documents and create new data groups in your qualitative project based on statistical results. Include all parts of your data or use activation to limit analysis to specific documents and codes. You can also work with Excel or SPSS datasets, just as you would any other statistical software package.

Descriptive statistics

Create basic charts to compare the frequency and percentages of variables you code. Frequency tables are interactive: delete and combine columns in rows with an automatic percentage recalculation. Create customizable charts and diagrams for your results and copy them to display or directly in your reports and presentations. Calculate descriptive statistics, including mean, standard deviation, variance, quartiles, median, and range.

MaxQDA Analytics: compare groups

There are a wide variety of methods for exploring the relationships between two or more variables. Cross tables are among the elementary elements without which no statistical software can do without: easy to customize and revealing not only for statisticians. Highlighting options make it easier and faster to interpret the results. If you're looking for something more advanced, you can also compare the effects of a factor in different groups with variance analysis (ANOVA).

correlation

One of the most critical statistical procedures for exploring connections within your data is to verify correlations. The Statistics module allows you to calculate the two most commonly used correlation coefficients with a few mouse clicks: Pearsons re Spearans Rho.

Scale, calculate and recode

Creating your own scale can be a great way to correctly measure the dimensions you're most interested in. Calculate the Cronbach Alpha to check reliability. Save the scales as new variables and calculate the sum or meaning of the element values. Create new variables by calculating or recodeting values from existing variables.

Easy-to-use output viewer

Ease of use has always been recognized as an important feature of the MAXQDA product family, and with MAXQDA Analytics Pro, we have extended our high standard of usability to the domain of statistical analysis. The built-in output viewer is just one of many features we've implemented to deliver on this promise, but it's critical: export each table and graph to the output viewer with a single click. You will remain there, no matter what you do in the meantime, hoping to be transferred to your report with a simple copy and pasting.

MAXQDA Analytics Pro 2020

MAXQDA Analytics Pro 2020 integrates a complete module for statistical analysis into MAXQDA. Project data can now be statistically analyzed, and Excel, SPSS, or other statistical datasets can be imported and analyzed along with the qualitative data corpus. MAXQDA Analytics Pro is the complete solution for researching qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods.
