What is MEMOMIX?

What's more, all pairs of words have another pair of words written equally, to be a distraction factor, here called "distractors".

The objective of using the distractors is to increase the stimulus of memory and attention, that is, if the participant does not read the word properly and play only through visual cues may err, because the words written equally are not the right ones. What counts, then, is not how the word is written, but which word is written.

Another unique feature of Memomix is that words are randomly presented in any position in space, because the proficient reader has to be able to read the words horizontally, upside down, vertically and even in a mirrored way.

In this new version, words can be selected from four semantic fields:

• Animals
• Food
• Clothing
• Professions
• or Mix (the four mixed), so it also stimulates vocabulary.

It is indicated from 7 years. It can be used in Aphasia therapies, Reading and Writing Disorders, Dyslexia, Automation of Articulatory and Phonological Disorders, Specific Language Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It can also be used in schools in pairs in the classroom and even for family entertainment.

According to the level of the participants, you can select the semantic field, the number of cards, the time of exposure of the cards and the type of words.

The types of words to be displayed in order of difficulty are:

• Words
• Distractors
• Random
