What is Mousepose?

Mouseposé is the indispensable tool to highlight the mouse pointer (also known as "virtual laserpointer") for everyone who makes demonstrations at trade shows, presentations, trainings and screencasts, or for individuals with large, high-resolution screens.

When activated, it dims the screen and illuminates the area around the mouse pointer, easily directing the audience's attention to an area of interest.

Searchlight

The so-called "Mouseposé Effect" serves to highlight the area of interest around the mouse pointer, just press a configurable hotkey and the entire screen is slightly dimmed and only a circle around the mouse is highlighted. An elegant start/stop animation is designed to draw your eyes to the mouse pointer, wherever it is hidden. The entire effect, including the size of the circle and the intensity of the darkening, can be extensively customized to your liking.

Mouse clicks

The audience will be able to follow you much better during the presentation if people can clearly see what you're doing. Unlike a simple laser pointer, Mouseposé not only highlights the mouse pointer, but also visualizes mouse clicks by drawing a red circle (or two or three, depending on the number of mouse clicks) around the mouse, lets you choose a sound to be played when the mouse is clicked, and lets you choose different colors for right and left mouse clicks.

Key strokes

Presenters often forget that the audience can't see the keystrokes typed and confuse them using shortcuts. Mouseposé helps prevent this problem by making keystrokes visible. Now your audience can easily follow along. Just don't forget that now they can also see you enter your passwords!
