Datanamic MultiRun is a simple tool for quickly running multiple SQL scripts across multiple databases. The tool supports multiple database platforms.

Define a list of databases, add SQL scripts to run on those databases, and click run to run those scripts on the databases in the list. Multithreaded execution of SQL scripts causes the task to complete quickly. After the scripts are run, you can examine the results of the scripts that run on each database in the results browser.

You can control what should be done when an error occurs while running SQL scripts: stop running all scripts, ignore the error, and continue, stop running scripts in the database with the error.

This tool saves in real time. There are no more annoying repetitive scriptexecution tasks. Datanamic MultiRun is an ideal tool for database professionals who need to deploy multiple SQL scripts across multiple servers.

Resources

Database connectivity

Run scripts on the MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, InterBase, Firebird, and MS SQL Server databases.

Run multiple SQL scripts across multiple databases

Set up a list of SQL scripts and run the scripts on a database list.

Multithreaded execution

Datanamic MultiRun provides a multi-chained environment for quick execution of SQL commands.

Support for versioning between databases

You can run the same SQL script on databases with a different version number. Your database list can contain, for example, MySQL 4 and a MySQL 5 database.

Query results automatically exported to text files

Database messages and other command execution outputs will be automatically saved to text files in a user-defined directory.

Very easy to use

Simple user interface: only four tabs (database list, script list, execution settings and the results browser) and one button, Run.

Error handling settings

You have full control over what should happen when an error occurs when running the scripts. You have four options: Stop running, continue running, Stop running script on database with error, stop executing statements after error statement on database with error, Stop running any script in database with error.

Project-oriented architecture

Save the database list, sql script list, execution settings, and execution results.

Set order to run the script

The execution order of SQL scripts can be changed manually by moving them up and down the script list.

Execution results browser

You can easily navigate the results of execution with the results browser. Detailed information is available for all databases on which a SQL script runs.

Combined results

You have the option to add script execution output to a single file.

Support for large scripts

Datanamic MultiRun can load and display large SQL scripts without problems.

Unicode support for SQL scripts

Unicode script handling is supported. Datanamic MultiRun displays unicode SQL scripts and runs unicode SQL scripts.

Execution progress indicator

A progress indicator for each database is displayed during script execution.

Command-line utility

A command-line utility is included. You can create a project with the GUI application and (if you want) run that project with the command-line utility. This way, you can further automate script deployment.
