What is Network Monitoring and IT Management?

Network Monitoring and IT Management is an enterprise-grade IT infrastructure management, monitoring and oversight system based on the AggreGate IoT Integration Platform. Built on a strong and flexible foundation, Network Manager is a complete solution for taking care of your network, applications, and services.

Network Monitoring and IT Management is deployed in minutes and takes you to a new level of visibility right after the initial network discovery is complete. It offers hundreds of dashboards, alerts, charts, incident prediction models, and other pre-configured instruments to oversee a relatively standard out-of-the-box network.

IT Management Platform

The extreme flexibility of the underlying digital enterprise platform allows IT administrators to employ advanced event correlation, machine learning, and deep data mining tools that are never found in any NMS. This makes Network Manager a true platform, a builder for building your own custom management and monitoring system.

NMS Framework for Digital Enterprises

From an architectural standpoint, Network Manager is a set of modules that extend the AggreGate platform. Combine them with other spin-off products – such as Data Orchestration, Business Intelligence, Incident Management or Industrial Automation – and provide a unified digital platform for your business.

One size fits all

Network Manager is designed to monitor networks and IT environments of any extent:

Small Networks

Small businesses with up to a hundred network devices often face relatively simple monitoring tasks, such as tracking the availability of the company's servers and services (e.g., mail and web).

Network Monitoring and IT Management can send email and SMS notifications to the company's network administrator if a service or an entire host goes offline, before being called by one of the management executives.

Medium networks

Modern medium and large organizations tend to have a very complex network infrastructure consisting of gateway routers, managed switches, network printers, and multiple servers.

Typical network management tasks include bandwidth usage monitoring and network traffic analysis, historical trend for critical service performance, printer usage monitoring, capacity planning assistance.

Large networks

Multi-layered networks of ISPs/MSPs and international companies with multiple offices require an individual approach. It usually involves distributed monitoring of multiple data centers, virtualized infrastructure, wireless networks, or VoIP.

Monitoring large networks is often associated with Network Manager connecting to external applications to perform deeply customized data analysis and integrate ITSM processes.

Manager of Managers

In large environments, Network Monitoring and IT Management is often used as a middleware between NMS/BMS/SCADA systems and ITSM/CMMS/Helpdesk/Service Desk systems.

In this scenario, it collects and consolidates alerts from various management systems, enriches them with information extracted from inventory systems, and then forwards normalized alerts to ITSM systems, converting them into problem tickets and maintenance orders. These tickets are managed by AggreGate and sometimes closed automatically upon alarm deactivation.

Network Management Platform

Network Monitoring and IT Management covers all aspects of IT monitoring and management. It handles availability, performance, and quality at every level, from network parameters to business service KPIs across the enterprise.
