What is OFFPIPE?

OFFPIPE is a sophisticated computer program based on finite element methods. It was developed specifically for the modeling and structural analysis of nonlinear problems encountered in the installation and operation of offshore pipelines.

Analysis features include:

static and dynamic pipe laying analyses for many drawbar and stinger configurations, both conventional and J-lay.

analysis of initiation, abandonment and recovery of pipes;

calculates static stresses, length lengths, and static tube deflections for irregular seafloor scenarios;

Static turbidity analysis for conventional riser installations and subsea connections

Minimum requirements:

OFFPIPE runs on Windows 95/2000/XP-based systems. It leverages current technological advances in hardware to provide fast and accurate calculations.
